After more than 18 months of collaboration with nexo-standards, a not-for-profit member association chartered to create a unified global card payments acceptance, ISTIUM is proud to announce it has been approved as an Associate Member of the organization on July 9th, 2019.
ISTIUM relation with nexo standards started in November 2017 with the appointment of the company as a contractor for the standardization process of the ISO20022 Retailer protocol migration. ISTIUM has demonstrated its expertise in payment systems as well as in the management of the standardization process during the whole duration of the standardization progression. ISTIUM has especially been in charge of designing the new protocol based on the existing legacy one and writing the numerous documents that take part in the protocol and of ensuring their consistency.
Thanks to its contribution to the ISO20022 Retailer protocol, IStIUM has increased its involvement in the global evolution to ISO 20022, allowing the company to become a proactive supporter of these international protocols. ISTIUM is able to act as a very technical level (protocol implementation) as well as a strategic level for its customers.
We are very happy to become an associate member of nexo standards and take this new status as a recognition of the xpertise we have brought into the standardization process. Our new nexo Associate Member status also allows us to substantiate our expertise when we support all stakeholders in the payment industry in implementing the nexo standards.
